UNPRECEDENTED, but in a GREAT WAY!!!
If The 2020 numbers are in, and
in the midst of the global pandemic, real estate in the Twin Cities saw a
historic and record setting year.
There were 64,359 homes sold in 2020,
which is the highest number for a single year since they have been regularly
recording data in the Twin Cities. (Back in 2005 there were around 62,000 homes
sold which was the previous record until now).
2021 should be comparable as interest
rates are expected to remain at lowest recorded levels, demand remains extremely
high, and the pandemic is on the cusp of stabilizing with multiple vaccines
being administered worldwide.
